OCT. 27: An In-depth Fedora Tutorial for Developers
Ithaca, NY Please join Thorny Staples, DuraSpace Director of Community Strategy and Alliances and Fedora Project Lead, on Wednesday October 27, 2010 at 4:00 pm ET for a free technical overview of the Fedora (flexible–extensible–digital–object–repository–architecture) platform for DSpace developers and anyone who would like to understand more about what’s going on under the Fedora “hood.” The presentation will include examples of how Fedora can be implemented to facilitate scholarship in humanities and scientific research by connecting data, resources, policies and workflows to effectively manage and access data and information in distributed locations.
