Ithaca, NY Any discussion about making a digital collection accessible eventually circles around to the question of “how long?” The Texas Digital Library (TDL) was awarded a $25,000 Historic Preservation and Digitization Award from the NN/LM South Central Region to make 500 photos that illustrate medical history in Dallas available. The Library chose to create a public face for the images through CONTENTdm.

Ithaca, NY In my recent travels, I have been hearing that there are people out there who would like to get involved in the Fedora repository development process in ways other than programming. I thought that I would use this opportunity to get the conversation started.

BSD City, Indonesia DEIT 2011 will be held in Bali, Indonesia March 15-17, 2011 and aims to bring together researchers and scientists from academia, industry, and government laboratories to present new results and identify future research directions in data engineering and internet technology.
