It is therefore no surprise that Harvard University Library features a remarkable selection of 33 web-accessible collections available online in words, images and annotations transporting web travelers to past times, taking them on esoteric adventures, and presenting them with varied scientific and cultural information.

Ithaca, NY DuraSpace gold sponsor Emory University Library is currently featuring an exhibition entitled "Shadows of the Sun" at the Schatten Gallery located on campus in the Woodruff Library. The exhibit highlights the lives and times of Harry and Caresse Crosby who founded the avant garde Black Sun Press in 1927.

Winchester, MA Most of us can come up with at least one comic strip that has made a lasting impression. Comics have always been part of art for commerce culture that exists somewhere in between commodity and art form. Designed to resonate with a niche part of a newspaper's readers, well-known comics like Dilbert, Doonesbury and Cathy gained popularity because some part of the newspaper-buying public saw themselves reflected in comic strip characters.

Winchester, MA Dagomba dance drumming originated in the kingdom of Dagbon which is located within the West African country of Ghana on the Ivory Coast. The music consists of four combined drum parts with each individual piece of music conveying special meaning. Dagomba performers are often members of a clan of drummers whose instruments consist of the lunga (talking drum) and the gungon (bass drum).
