Charlottetown, Canada  The Robertson Library Islandora Team at the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) has announced that Islandora beta release 2009-04-03  has been made available. This version of Islandora is compatible with Drupal 6.x and Fedora 3.x.

Truro, UK  What will it take to establish global repository infrastructure to create an interoperable system of repositories for research outputs? The aim of the International Repositories Infrastructure group is to determine where work needs to be done to ‘fill in the gaps’ to meet this objective. Current efforts are focused on journal articles.

Sydney, Australia The Muradora Team at Macquarie University has announced that Muradora 1.4.0-beta1 is now available. This is the first version of Muradora that is compatible with Fedora 3.0. The release includes authorization support for new Fedora API’s, but not the experimental REST interface as yet. The installation instructions remain the same for this version as the previous.
The software packages may be downloaded from the Muradora Software Repository.
