London, UK  Developers from UK and beyond gathered this week in London at DEV8D, Developer Happiness Days. The event was organized by David Flanders and the JISC event committee, who are: Neil Chue- Hong, Ross Gardler, Andy McGregor, Owen Stephens,  Paul Walk and Scott Wilson.

It’s not too late to submit a proposal for Open Repositories 2009! The deadline for general conference proposals has been extended to February 20th, 2009, which means you still have time.

Ithaca, NY  Fedora Commons invites you to submit proposals for the next Fedora User Group Meeting, to be held in conjunction with the Open Repositories 2009 conference. We invite developers, researchers and practitioners to submit proposals for presentations describing their experiences implementing and using Fedora, or developing software associated with Fedora. The Fedora program committee is currently soliciting proposals for 20 minute presentations.

Call for Papers, Posters and Workshops Repositories are being deployed in a variety of environments (education, research, science, cultural heritage) and contexts (national, regional, institutional, project, lab, personal). Regardless of setting, context or scale, repositories are increasingly expected to operate across administrative and disciplinary boundaries and to interact with distributed computational services and social communities.
