Madrid, Spain  The Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the largest public research body in Spain, Cybermetrics lab recently presented the July edition of the popular web-exposure ranking for Institutional Repositories together with a major overhaul of the webometrics website.

Honolulu, HI  The Winter 2013 APAN/ESnet/Internet2 technical meeting, known as "Techs in Paradise" or "TIP," hosted by the University of Hawaii Mānoa, from Saturday, January 12 through Friday, January 18 has issued a call for proposals. Abstracts are due on Sept.

Washington, DC  LSC (Learning Spaces Collaboratory) Webinars with the theme, "building and sustaining institutional-wide awareness of how space matters to learning," will be facilitated by colleagues from campuses that have formal programs for managing and planning classrooms and informal learning spaces. Webinars explore how to gain a sense of the community, capitalize on internal interest and expertise in ongoing renewal of program and place, and use current and capital funds most efficiently in renewing the physical fabric of the campus.
